Denver — Dynamac Computer Products Inc., the first third party to put a Macintosh board in a portable box, has suspended marketing operations.
Founder and President Britt Blaser said sluggish sales of the IIsf, Dynamac’s LC-in-a-briefcase introduced last August, and the success of Apple’s PowerBooks spelled doom for the company.
“What can I say? Apple has come out with a marvelous product,” Blaser said. “And [we've] moved to concentrate on the portable-screen market.” Blaser said the privately held company’s “doors are [not] closed.”
